This autoclave was manufactured off-site while a new building addition was being constructed to house the machine.  Originally, the autoclave was 30' in length.  The rear end of the vessel was cut-off and an extension of over twenty feet was added to the autoclave.  The modification required the vessel to be hydro tested, and approved to meet National Board & ASME standards.
